Harmful to humans and animals. Do not contaminate food with use. Rinse surfaces and objects with potable water that come into direct contact with food. Avoid direct contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. Avoid inhaling solution vapors. In case of ingestion, do not induce vomiting. Seek medical advice if upset stomach or gastric distress persists. Following disinfection, do not house animals until areas have been ventilated. For surfaces or objects that come into direct contact with children at the mouthing stage of development, rinse with potable water. As appropriate, wear barrier protection such as gloves, gowns, masks, and eye coverings. It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Storage and disposal
Store ENEVRA in a cool dry place. Do not use or store near heat or open flame. Dilute solution with water for disposal in ordinary sanitary sewer. Triple-rinse container for disposal.
For use as a cleaner on surfaces and medical equipment
Apply solution directly onto surfaces or equipment. Allow to remain visibly wet for 30 seconds prior to wiping with a clean towel. Discard towel.
For use as a pre-cleaner on non-critical medical devices
Pre-rinse dirty instruments under tap water to remove heavily soiled debris. Place instruments in a container. Apply undiluted product to thoroughly contact all instrument surfaces and allow to remain visibly wet for 30 seconds. Remove and rinse instruments and dry with a clean towel. Follow with appropriate cleaning and disinfection process. Discard solution and towel.
For use as a disinfectant on surfaces and medical equipment
Apply undiluted solution directly onto pre-cleaned surfaces, thoroughly wetting area to be disinfected. Allow surfaces to remain visibly wet for 10 minutes at room temperature (20°C/68°F). Wipe surface using a clean towel and allow surfaces to air dry. Discard towel.
For use as a disinfectant on pre-cleaned non-critical medical devices
Instruments must be thoroughly pre-cleaned to remove excess debris, rinsed and dried. Thoroughly clean and rinse lumens of hollow instruments. Place instruments in a container and apply undiluted solution directly onto pre-cleaned surface, thoroughly wetting or submersing instruments to be disinfected. Allow instruments to remain visibly wet or immersed for 10 minutes at room temperature (20°C/68°F). Remove and rinse or wipe dry with a clean towel prior to use. Discard solution and towel. Critical and semi-critical devices must be followed by appropriate terminal sterilization/high-level disinfection process.
If in eye: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. If present after the first 5 minutes, continue rinsing eye. If still present, call a poison control center or doctor for advice. If on skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with water for 15-20 minutes. If skin redness persists, call a poison control center or doctor for further advice.
This product may be used to pre-clean or decontaminate critical or semi-critical medical devices prior to sterilization/high-level disinfection. This product is not to be used as a terminal sterilant/high-level disinfectant on any surface or instrument that (1) is introduced directly into the human body, either into or in contact with the bloodstream or normally sterile areas of the body, or (2) contacts intact mucous membranes but which does not ordinarily penetrate the blood barrier or otherwise enter normally sterile areas of the body.
